MM College hosts event on cleanliness and civic responsibility

Patna, Mar 03: Magadh Mahila College, in collaboration with the Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC), successfully organized the event "Cleanliness: Our Collective Responsibility".

The program aimed to foster a collective commitment to a cleaner and healthier Patna, bringing together students, faculty, and community members. The event commenced with a lamp lighting ceremony, followed by a welcome address by Principal Dr. (Prof) Namita Kumari.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Neetu Navgeet, delivered a captivating cultural performance featuring "swachhata" songs, inspiring attendees with her dedication to promoting cleanliness. Priya Singh, Assistant Sports Secretary, anchored the event, while Shivani Singh, Environment and Sanitation Secretary, delivered the Vote of Thanks.

The program highlighted the significance of civic engagement, encouraging students to actively participate in shaping their city's future. The PMC's crucial role in providing essential services, such as waste management and sanitation, was acknowledged.
